5 Lessons we should learn from Covid-19

Spread the knowledge

Covid-19 came as a surprise to many. The world was very normal before, no one could imagine we would be in such a mess. Covid-19 has tested humanity to the extreme. These are the moments, we see life from a different angle. As we walk through this valley of death, let us hold hands and move forward together. Many have gone so soon, they have left us lonely, depressed, confused, and hurt.

A tiny submicroscopic infectious agent that replicates inside our bodies, and we cannot see it with ou bare eyes. What lessons should we learn from this vicious Coronavirus?

Life is short

We have learned that life is delicate and can disappear anytime. None of us has a guarantee that they would live for a particular defined time. We need to cherish each moment we have on this planet earth. Let us utilize fully our alive moments, with family, friends, and every soul we interact with. Everyone should work hard and smart towards achieving the greater good of our society. Be happy always as you go about your daily responsibilities. Life is short.

You have this one life! How do you wanna spend it? Apologizing? Regretting? Questioning? Hating yourself? Running after people who don’t see you? Be brave. Believe in yourself. Do what feels good. Take risks. You have this one life. Make yourself proud.

Health is wealth

We have seen that the majority of people dying with coronavirus have underlying health conditions. Health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, and respiratory diseases. These people have lost lives because their immune systems could not fight a combination of multiple diseases. We, therefore, need to invest in good health, exercise frequently, and eat well. Maintaining good health will enable us to go through such times with strength and confidence. Viruses and other vicious diseases won’t be able to put us down. Your health is your greatest wealth.

4 Reasons Someone would Hate you for Nothing

Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live in.

Jobs are temporary

Many of us have lost jobs, even those owning businesses have lost customers. It is always unfortunate when people get comfortable after getting a job. They fail to go beyond and build their lives because they have a steady job. This pandemic has thought us that jobs are temporary, anytime they can be taken away from us. We need to be prepared always for the time we shall not be having the jobs. Have anything even if it is small, it is better than having nothing. We can always invest in different areas of interest. You can build your own house, invest in farming, or anything doable at your convenience. Jobs are temporary.

There is comfort in knowing that everything is temporary.

Always save money

When jobs and businesses are closed now, we realize the importance of always saving. We always need to save money, no matter the amount. Cultivate the habit of saving money because you do not know what tomorrow brings. People have suffered a lot due to a lack of money. Many cannot pay for their basic needs like water, food, and apartments because they have nothing in their pockets, they never saved money. If we manage to pass through this COVID-19, let us take seriously the issue of saving always. Decide what percentage you will always save when you get any form of income. Always save money.

Do not save what is left after spending, but spend what is left after saving.

We need God to survive

As we go through these trying times we need to realign ourselves back to our virtues and beliefs. We need deep and meaningful introspection about ourselves, and after take our iniquities to God for cleansing. This is the time to repent because we need God to survive in such a global pandemic. Covid-19 has brought out many conspiracy theories about the origin of the virus. Others say it was made in the labs and another claim came from the animals. Only God knows the facts. At these trying moments, it would be wise to repent and choose to be by him always. We need God to survive.

God will never let us down because his love is unconditional.

I understand we are going through tough times but still find in your heart to be happy and cherish one another. I hope we have got the lessons and we would be better humans.
